The next 'mod' on the corsa is a full system as the exhaust is sitting on the rear beam

Is there any off the shelf exhausts where u can get a specific bore? I'm wanting 2.25''.

I'm wanting it quite loud too. Not chavvy loud but a noticeable loud. I hear Ashley is quite good? But does the tip come out straight?

Thanks for your help

get an ashley system mate. I had one and it was awsome! Quiet on tick over and sounded the nuts on full load (i had decat aswel)
my tip came out straight. Just take your time adjusting it underneath.

Type gezc16b in on youtube and my corsa should be on there popping. Not a great vid, but you get the idea of how loud it will be.

Get a 2' system, when I got my exhaust done at powerflow the guy was saying 2' is by far the best size for power on small block engines, powerflow are good. But bloody expensive!

I had an Ashley backbox on my old one and the tip wasn't straight but it didn't bother me really. Sounded good too

Powerflow expensive... The exhaust for my old corsa made by simpson race exhausts was close to £1000

Gez - how did u get it to come out straight? Id get an Ashley if I could get the tip out straight. As I've heard off quite a few people that they come out at angle...

And what did u have? Was u running decat and middlebox?

yea the ashleys are an angled system...very few corsa systems are stright though, unless its powerflow.

Both my scorpions, the lexmaul and the Ashley were all angled.

Scorpions were my fav tbh, the imola tip, cracking systems! The ashley was alright, but the quality isn't brilliant...and they are noisy.

Scorpion:

Ashley:

If i got another corsa...i'd be after a scorpion.

Janspeed ones come out straight They are very quiet with a mid box though so you'd probably want a straight through middle if you want it nice and loud

Pic of my janspeed exhaust but on a different car as its hard to see on mine.

The custom one I had on my Corsa was angled but barely. To look at it, it looked straight.

My Sportex exhaust comes out straight, pretty loud with just a straight through centre section and the backbox. I'll try getting a picture tomorrow to put up

if your planning engine mods...proper ones, then you want a 2.25 system. im getting one made for mine soon as ive finished building my engine, but then i should be looking at about 180bhp and 2.5 is too big.

I'm going to put my old X16XE in eventually and that's got adtermarket inlet, C16XE gasflowed port & polished head with 4-2-1 manifold. Then when the engine is up and running I'll get it cammed with a raised rev limit and have a map. Still worth getting a 2" bore?

I would get an Ashley but a lot of people are saying the tips don't come out straight...

Why do none of these companies (just went on the exhausts uk site, which was infuriatingly childish) cater for Volvo's!? I would go custom if I was you Scott. That way you know what you're getting! If it's a decent company of course.

Yeh the main page put me right off. And they don't even do an outwardly rolled tip

Yeh I'm thinking custom too. My old one was custom and it was cock on.
