Just bought this on Saturday from Carnoustie. Happy enough with it, first proper car that isn't a vauxhall. Like it better than my XE corsa as my one was a bit of a dog and constantly worrying what was going to happy next, so it's nice to be able to just drive a car

Comments & Opions welcome
(Amaits Vtec yo, no torque etc...)

B16A (not sure wether it's 1 or 2)
Seems ok, only got 80,000 miles with old MOTs to prove. Burns a little bit of oil high end of the rev range but nothing like some hondas i've seen

Pulls pretty well, it's got collies aswell but don't think they've been set up properly as it likes to make up its own mind a bit when you let off and go back on throttle. Needs a good clean and polish and a couple dents sucked out but all in all it's reasonable nick for a 19y.o car.

Totally different. Feels just like any other 1.6 lower down but once your up above 5 and a half it pulls hard. Whereas the corsa was torquey low down and grunted all the way to the redline. Only taken it up to about 90 (on private runway) and feels like it gets there in more of a hurry than the corsa but i don't know it's hard to tell, there about the same. Top end wise i can imagen the corsa would pull harder top end as it was fit for pulling high through 4th with no drama. Yet to see what this thing is like higher up.

Bro had 1 of these a cpl of years ago.Was the Esi though,1600 16v SOHC(D16Z6).
Pulled 141bhp on Dasteks rollers. Was a quick wee fuker tbf.

They dont feel torquey, but when you look at how quick the speedo climbs you can gauge how quick they are.Tbh,i reckon a B16 in 1 of these would be evenly matched to a standard XE Corsa up to maybe 125.

Have to agree the rear plate doesn't suit, but apart from that everything looks good. Definitely a car I would own.

Yeah, i'm not a JDM kind of person never really dealt with the scene. The guy i bought it from said that it had a JDM tailgate with recess, i.e. for a smaller jap plate yeah? Bonnet is a bit ..... but i'm stating to come around to it a bit (flamesuit), does look quite mean from the front with the bonnet. Rust wise it's in really good nick. I'll get a small project thread on the go of tidying stuff up a bit.
