Just been out in my friends import OH MY i have never really liked them that much any civic really, how ever think i have now been swayed

He's got a full exhaust on and induction kit the noise is well abusive its a pretty small exhaust to 2" tail pipe i believe de-cat though, alot quicker then i thought out of a 1.6 handles amazing lsd mixed with well set up coilovers makes a good balance

Got me looking at one now seem pretty fun car's to own

I used to have one, but the novelty wore off after a few months.

It had a Spoon 4-2-1 manifold, Spoon B-pipe and Spoon exhaust, as well as a Spoon filter and induction pipe thingy. Sounded ace and was 200ish bhp

LSD makes it go round corners well but outside of that they just make a load of noise and don't go very fast.

I thought the build quality was shocking too.

a 1.6 weighing just over 1000kg and with 185 BHP standard is not to turn your nose up at

if its anything like my DC2, it wants its oil changing every 6000 miles, the other things tend to be every 12000 (from memory)

It wasn't a spoon exhaust racking my mind but cant remeber what it was i no the first thing i thought of when he told me was some sort of foreign machine gun

Did handel amazingly well although when we went up a dual carrige way we had another car sat on his arse all the way up and was what i can only describe as a NAIL of an eg civic on steelies massive exhaust mismatch colour doors ect when we hit the speed limiter is sailed past but he did say they can be pretty fast if the vti & stripped out for a striaght line car

Definalty considering one but as a few of you say they are pricey and even paul the lad who owns it said he is tempted to get a dc2 now

They are stupidly loud we went through and underpast in vtec and well it was abusively loud loved it though

Theyre good looking cas, interior is cool as well. Engines are reliable as fuck and the amount of power they can be quicker than biggars cars such as 2ltr turbos. What else can you ask for from a car that was built for the track.

cam belt is either 60k or 5 years matey, honda garages will do it all in for £200

as for noise, mines standard and only makes a racket when you want it to, below tec it doesn't make that much noise. its the lack of sound deadening that makes it loud
