Basically, my uncle who lives in Spain has a GS 260 Moon Buggy he needs to get rid of as they have brought some new laws about English registered vehicles staying in Spain for more than 6 months etc etc. He's said to me instead of him getting it back here and trying to flog it, if i pay to get it back to England, i can have it.

How do i go about doing so? Links/prices/websites would be useful.

Thanks

Could you not fly over, drive it to Bilbao and get on a ferry or drive back through France? Will cost you a fortune getting someone else to do it.

Road trip

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Can't you get a cheap flight over and drive back?

You reckon it would be cheaper to fly to spain, transport it to bilbao, ferry over, then transport back over? Or just pay out and let them do the job?

How do i transport it across Spain and England? I'd have to fork our for insurance, fuel. Then ferry costs. Then actually sitting in the thing for hours with no windows, doors, windscreen, music.

1) Insure it in this country, can't be that expensive
2) Book a ferry back for most of the way
3) You don't sit in the car on a Ferry, you get an allocated seat at least, if not a cabin

1. It's about £400 for the year.
2. Yup
3. I know that I mean its bloody dusty with no glass at all, its roasting, no music, limited to 55mph, no idea on directions

you lot obviously haven't been in one, for a start they aren't allowed on motorways. there top speed is max 50mph and they aren't meant to be driven at max speed for long or they get too hot. Not to mention there isnt even a glove box etc or much room for a bag or anything. Oh and the fuel tank holds approx 8lts so would be filling it up all day. sounds nice picking it up but just isnt practical. had to get mine shipped 50miles to me.
