When its states the width of a car in its spec is it measured from wing mirror to wing mirror or is it measured from each side of the cars body?

Depends who were you're getting your information from. Manufacturers usually give a diagram to make it clear. A random website might have got their information from anywhere.

Seen & test drove a car today and just wanna make sure it would fit in my garage if i get it.
