2002 51 Plate Clio 172 - Just about to hit 58K which isn't a lot

Oil/Filters Serviced about 1K ago when it was MOT'd. Also had rear shockers replaced, new tyre & a new exhaust. MOT until July, Tax end of Dec

General condition is good, biggest issue being a two inch scratch that has been repaired with one of those touch up pens (n/s door)

Taking this as a guide:
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/list.asp?g=1&s=584&filter=TP&o=m&pc=&min=&max=&txt=172&px=&p=3&pagesize=15&xsl=list&y1=2001&y2=2002&d=0&dist=&nodays=0

Should I expect about £2500? Maybe put it up at £2700 to allow for some bartering space?

Milleage and condition will help this sell.

No, not yet. I think they're due at 60K?

To be honest I'd rather not spend money on having them done, unless I was keeping it of course. Would rather let it go cheaper & let the new owner worry about having them done

Might give it a polish up at the weekend & put it up for around £3K, see how that goes. I'm looking at leasing a car so how quickly I need to sell it depends on their lead times, might even be able to hang on for a better price.

Thanks all

72K isn't too bad, can definately expect around 3K then

Pete - It does vary but I usually get 38+ & that's including some peak time traffic at a snails pace. On a run I get about 42 without the AC on

Great cars really when you consider their balance between economy & fun driving. Just wish the tax wasn't such a bitch

2.8k tops as belts hasnt been done.

The market has changed people will only look at 172/182's if they are bargains. I let my 182 go for pennies and that was mildly tuned with a full service history with belts etc done

What should I advertise it as 3K? Or a bit less?

I've got about 10 weeks to sell it

Yeah the color is nice i was offered one the same before i bought mine but i was addament for black. Seen a few on pistonheads your color though for around £2k, - £2.2k, that have been Cat C/D's so you should be able to get £3k i reckon.

For Sale is my Clio 172. Serviced by Ktec and Renault while I've owned it. FSH including cambelt as scheduled.

The car is in good condition externally and looks good when washed and polished, there are a few small stone chips as you'd expect for a car of this age.

Since I've owned the car I've (since March 09) I've Bought.

Magnex ignition leads
Iridium spark plugs
Pipercross Viper induction kit (Original airbox will be provided as well)
Brembo HC discs
Ferodo pads
Braided Lines

All the above from Ktec

The car also came with a ktec stealth exhaust fitted.
It also came with a clifford cat1 alarm and imobiliser.
I have lowered the car on V-maxx coilovers (from a cliosport group buy) but buyer can have original suspension too.

Car run on shell v-power with a glove box full of receipts to prove it.

2 toyo t1r tires fitted at powerstation.
Brand new bosch battery.
All work on the car done by powerstation, ktec or AJEC Racing.

I love the car. Selling due to boring motorway commute every day in my diesel

Advertised on autotrader for £3500 but If anyone on here wants it £3,295 ono Much rather see it go to someone who'll enjoy it.

Just been posted on cliosport.net, same color as yours. £3300 with cambelt done.
