fucking hell, this is why I never bother with trax any more...

The driving is atrocious (e.g. people not just letting other faster people past) and what's the deal with 5 minutes of slow lap before you get going...

5 minutes of a 9 minute session is at shit speed.

Castle Combe at least knows how to get everyone going immediately. Really looking forward to it now, just hope it stays dry.

Pace lap, new circuit that 75% of people hadn't done before when there was a show of hands in the briefing hence the slower lap. My pace lap wasn't quite that slow but it was dry when I went out so maybe that's why?

I have to agree some people didn't know where to go when you came up behind them though.

Briefing was terrible tbh. That's the second video I've watched in which people have problems and pull up at the side of the road.

Absolutely stupid, stupid driving. Completely selfish not to mention dangerous.

Yeah I thought so too. My mate in the Clio who'd never been on track came out the briefing and felt no better off than when he went in. They didn't specify what side to overtake on and basically said get out the Lotus's way, who were also compelete and utter wankers!

I've never been to a track day, what are you supposed to do if something happens to your car?

Oh & in defence to the guy if he has no drive then he doesn't really have a choice but to pull up there surely? Although me personally I'd rather pull up somewhere a bit more out the way so somebody can't panic and slide into me

Did he have no drive? I though he mentioned a boost pipe. Would that not mean he could drive naturally aspirated - or wouldn't that be JDM enough for his leet drifter skillz

I think they always say if you break down, stay in your car. Don't get out.

I'd imagine a car stopped at the side like that with people inside = Wave yellows.

People out of the car = People on the track = Instant Red Flag.

From what I can get from that video he said something has gone pop, sounds like a boost pipe. This wouldn't prevent him returning to the pits. THen he says not meant to get out but fuck it.

Selfish twat.

You could be right, I was just going by the fact the car suddenly stopped accelerating and then he rolled to a stop. If he only blew a boost pipe, what a knob!

And mine. Until I drove off the stand at the end of the day and my rear pads are extinct and were grinding the whole way home. Gotta get it sorted before Saturday now.
