Not sure many will be interested but for those that are who do you think is going to win this year now the teams are picked?
Team Europe:
Luke Donald
Ross Fisher
Peter Hanson
Padraig Harrington
Miguel Angel Jimenez
Martin Kaymer
Graeme McDowell
Rory McIlroy
Edoardo Molinari
Francesco Molinari
Ian Poulter
Lee Westwood
Team USA:
Phil Mickelson
Hunter Mahan
Bubba Watson
Jim Furyk
Steve Stricker
Dustin Johnson
Jeff Overton
Matt Kuchar
Tiger Woods
Stewart Cink
Rickie Fowler
Zach Johnson
I think Europe have got the edge with so many in form players.
One pairing i'm looking forward to is Mcilroy vs Fowler, if it happens

I like the Ryder Cup, I assume it's on Sky though?

Sky sports are showing it in 3D. Not sure if BBC will have any coverage of it

I would have put Rose in our team over one of the Molinari brothers tbh.
Either way, will be excellent, can't wait for it.
Luke Donald is on top form atm -17 at the deutch bank championship. Played some amazing golf.

Picking Harrington was a bold move, he's been very poor for a while and his Ryder cup form is poor as well. Need a big effort from him.

Even if Eduardo hadn't won at Gleneagles I would of had him on the team. Him and his brother as a pair will be great. None of the Americans would want to come up against them and they both play well together!
The only reason I can think of to include Harrington over Casey/Rose is his scrambling abilities and that will frustrate who ever he comes up against.

Can sort of understand harrington being in, shown he can cope under the pressure but rose should have got in over one of the molinari's

I was amazed Casey was omitted from the Team especially given his matchplay record and experiance

Well the only Molinari he could of got in over is Eduardo, as Francesco qualified automatically. Eduardo 2 victories this year on the European tour and 2nd last week in Switzerland. He's in great form at the moment and there is no better pairing for Francesco than him.

Mcilroy - McDowell
Molinari - Molinari
Fisher - Hanson
Harrington - Westwood
Kaymer - Jimenez
Poulter - Donald
That would be my pairings. Although I think Donald and Fisher would/could swap round

He had to take both Molinari's, would be stupid not to, they are world matchplay champions for a start as a pair and are both brilliant golfers
Luke Donald showed why he shouldnt have been taken on Sunday, in contention, leading, went all red and the went bogey bogey bogey, he hasnt got the nerve and is a bad choice imo
Should have took Justin Rose instead, best mates with poulter and would have made a good pairing
Unfortunately jimenez qualified automatically because he record is dreadful and he wouldn't be there otherwise
No Anthony Kim this year, who is a quality match play player.
Think Europe will win this comfortably

But Donald has had a pretty good year on the European Tour. A win in madrid, 2nd at wentworth and I think it was 3rd at Celtic Manor.
Agree about taking Rose just to pair with Poulter but Poulter can be paired with pretty much anyone. However Rose's recent form has been far from good. A number of missed cuts and been pretty poor in the majors.
