hey all. im currently living in holland (where road tax costs 90 pounds a month! but all cars made before 1985 are road tax exempt)
so im looking to buy an old car made before 1985, but have no idea where to look. i cant find a thing on auto trader. any tips?
im currently driving a mercedes w116 450 se from 1973. but its a bit heavy on the petrol. so ideally im after a diesel.
cheers

Cool Merc
We have classic car dealers over here I guess short of looking there you just have to trawl classified adds to see what comes up?

my parents have just come back from holland and said everyone in amsterdam seemed to ride bicycles so i'm guessing a lot of people are pissed off over there.

Is this to find a car in Holland or find a pre-85 LHD car in the UK and export it?
Did you try http://www.autotrader.nl

Steering wheel is on the wrong side of that 'Opel'.
I'd get an old Volvo or a BMW 2002 or something soviet like a Skoda Popular
