you don't get 210 with just a remap.

starting with a 150bhp, 210 seems highly unlikely!

190bhp or thereabouts with a map and about 230ftlb of torque.

180-190bhp with a decent remap probably... Plenty of 1.8T tuning parts around though, think the main one is upgrading to a K03s, K04 or Hybrid turbo to see 200+bhp with the rest of the mods to go with it, probably looking into the 'spending fortunes' category there there

id probably only want to put a new exhaust and filter on, maybe a front mount and a map. would it see over 200bhp?

They are slow 1.8 turbo with only 150bhp and 0-60 in 8.5 seconds.
My mates 1.6 C2 loeb does 0-60 in 7.9 seconds.
i think astra 1.8 SRI's do 0-60 in 8.5 seconds

everything beats me as it is. my mates kept up with another mates 306 gti-6 which will be more than enough for me for the time being until i can get to 200bhp, then start aiming for 300

A Golf 1.8T with nearly 200bhp is gonna be pretty nippy.
