How do,

A friend of mine has a child on the way and is after a new car as hers is a 3door micra bag of shite.

So, need suggestions of what could be suitable.

Must meet the following criteria:

- £1000 or under
- 5 Door
- Hatchback
- Cheap to run
- Not a high insurance group
- Higher the NCAP rating the better

GO!

Astra I think would be cheaper to run than a Vectra? i.e. cheaper insurance, petrol, easier to park, etc.
