I presume its another calibra/cav 4wd system, which is rubbish as it only puts power to the rear wheels if the fronts lose grip and also as per that vid, you can remove a fuse and have it FWD only.

For it to be proper 4wd the engine needs to be the other way around IMO.

I think that is the same one that there is a vid on it on some street doing stuff were its obv just running fwd.

aye that other vid is pretty shite, he hardly gives it more than half throttle. It just seems like the car's not very solid yet - you can also see him waving to the guy on the RR to tell him to let off the throttle and they all have quite a pensive look on their faces.

No. Evo's have transversely mounted engines rather than longitudinal mounted.

Locked TX box gives it a 60/40 split iirc and full-time 4wd.Old Cali Turbo had a locked box and it was awesome.Wheelspin was pretty much non-existant.Just grip.

Old Gti-R was the same.Launched like nothing else with no wheel-spin.

Having an engine mounted transverse or not is not a case of right or wrong, its just 2 different ways of getting the same outcome, both have positives and negatives. It also has no bearing on wether or not the car would run a system of 100% fwd until it looses grip.
