Well I've put pay to plans of replacing the van at the end of the year.

I've had a major sort out in the back and cleared some room, and because of the type of work I do most of the time these days, I don't need anything bigger, so ended up tinkering a bit more with the van to make it more comfortable / attractive seeing as I spend so much time in it! After all, despite being an '04 plate, it's still only done 43k

So here's what it looked like before (around 3 years ago tbh!)

A very boring, bog standard Connect interior which was hardly comfortable.

And now:

Fiesta ST150 seats from one of the supercharged ST's that JamSport have built (running approx 440 bhp iirc )

Fiesta Mk6 Ghia steering wheel (leather, more comfortable grip, and silver insert)

Mondeo M75 gearknob (according to the eBay ad anyway!)

Parrot CK3100 Bluetooth kit (cheers Doug!)

Massive thanks to Tom @ Lemass for the large amount of fabrication work that was required to make the seats fit - they certainly aren't a bolt in item and for fitting the wheel (I'm too lazy!)

Next up is all the boring stuff on the van (Tax, MOT, Service etc) I've just fitted 4 new Kumho Ecsta KU31's and have a couple of further plans for the exterior with the signwriting and a couple of other bits

Cheers,

Rich

Except there isn't such a thing

Connect Sports are f-ugly and have chavvy stripes, spoiler and chrome bits, when I replace this, it will be a Caddy

AW06 - yeh wind up windows, it's an L so doesn't have air con, electric windows, heated front screen etc, but is mega low mileage for age and obviously rather good condition

I spent 3 months looking for a decent Connect. In the end the 2 best choices I had were of an LX with all the toys that had done 80k with part SH and bodywork had minor dents and scratches and interior was fairly abused, or an L that had done 11.5k in 3 years and was absolutely immaculate with FFSH and 3 years warranty - that's why I chose it.

Toys aren't a necessity, although would be nice. It's about portraying a decent image when I arrive at a customers house and when I'm seen out and about tbh!

That's like saying when somebody posts up their Corsa which is a Merit / LS etc, "so you went for the pikey option, should have got a Sport"

No, latest pic I have of exterior is off my phone:

Tinted rear lights, de rubstripped, de badged, Focus Sportpack Optional Extra alloys etc. ST Wheels have been massively overdone and with the weight I carry would be pushing my luck on the uber low profile tyres they run. And tbh 18's are a bit too big without lowering which is again a lot of fabrication work on one of these!

Nope I run 205/50 XL's on this and it's fine - the last set of budgets I just did 14k on them with no issues, now upgraded a little bit to Kumho Ecsta's which everybody seems to rave about - I wouldn't dare go any lower profile though as I carry near the payload when fully laden with all my gear!

You won't be disappointed with the Kumho KU31's - totally transformed myt Punto after the dog shit P Zero and Wanli's I had. Wish I could have got a full set.

Interior looks mint.

To be honest your van does give a good image about your business because its so clean, whereas i saw a van for a company called something like 'Dentboy' that was covered in dents... So he can't be such a good dent remover, i wouldn't of used him anyway

Haha, you'd think they'd already make an effort with what they're driving, its pretty much the first thing you see when they turn up, doesn't make great advertising really!
