Is the Corsa car battery meant to sit perfectly in the tray? Because mine slides about, like it's too small for it..

Mine doesn't move at all on the tray, checked to make sure the clamp on the tray is holding the battery in place properly or that its even got the clamp on it?

Was just a thought ha, i've had my battery out a couple of times lately to do some work and the clamps a right pain in the arse to get back on, usually have to take the clamp off completely, then sit the battery in first. But then the difficult bit is fastening the clamp back on without dropping it all down into the engine bay somewhere, thats on an x16xe though.

Just had a look, there is a clamp to the left of it, but I think the bolts in which you tighten has completely rusted and won't budge, so you can't.. clamp it down lol.

Oh well, no bother. I was having battery troubles. The battery died after leaving it for less than 24 hours standing. Just hope it was a dud battery, can't be arsed changing the alternator

wasn't a clamp on my old one, I wasn't even aware it was missing til it came down to replacing the battery... got one from the scrappy then

i thnk i have a spare tray. which isn't siezed if you want it
