or am i being a complete numpty..

buying kit from the states..

$2252 total inc postage, but hes put the value at 50% to save on some taxes..

i have worked it out like this.

$2252 = £1440

£1440 / 2 = £720

£720 + 3.7% (import tax found on the website) = £746.64

£746.64 + 17.5% vat = £877.30

£877.30 + £720 = £1597.30

is that right or am i missing something?

although, ive worked that out but charging the shipping cost with vat and tax, if i was to work it out with just the cost of items ($2035) i get total payable £1444..
