In photoshop version 7, how do u cut out something, like a bumper off of a car? Everytime i use the 'magicwand' thing it selects basicly the whole car n bits around it n the other tool where u draw around it isnt the easiest to use, very shaky!!!!

use the polygonal lasso tool and pick each point to point along the shape......a long process but u get use to it!

Thats wat i thought, my mate has version 6 i think n i was using it at his n that tool like stayed on the same colour n followed round the shape but on the version i have its like drawing round it free-hand, at least with his 1 it was stickin to the same colour? Need to change settings or something?

u can use the magic wand, change the "tolerance" in the top menu bar, i don't like it tho. Gets a shitty edge
