Dont declare it.. It in no way affects your risk level, you could take the insurance company to court over it if they refused to payout and used that as an excuse.

Don't tell the about the accident Jambo. I had this exact problem with my insurance. I've been crashed into twice and it was putting the quotes up by £300. Why should you have to pay for something that wasnt you fault?!

Is fine, if the claim went through your own insurance at any point and you odn't declare you wouldn't get anywhere by taking them to court.

If thats correct I shouldn't need to declare either or mine anyway then. What was the situation with yours Jambo? Did you claim off the other persons insurance?

Situation was I got crashed into, then had to have substantial amount of damage repaired (£3.5k iirc) that I claimed for but it didn't come off my NCB.as it obviously wasn't my fault.

It says you have to declare them regardless of fault?!

I have no points on my licence and never have had, had 1 other accident again non fault 5years ago?!

Why is it so high? I tried Elephant, swift cover and one other I had never heard of. Guess trawling through the lot of them is the only way *sigh*

insurance has gone up quite a bit. i have 8 years no claims, no points change on my license and my vectra went fro 270fc to 430fc same company. rang around and best quote i could get was 290 so had to change compaines. i had previously been with same one for last 8 years and it had gone down every year until this.

cant wait for the renewal for my corsa in november............

the insurance company will know that you have had that accident even if you dont tell them i ahd the same problem with admiral didnt declare came to qoute on the phone and it flagged up on my name if you have had a non faulkt claim statistically you are going to have an at fault claim so you are higher risk stealth insurance tax if you ask me

my accident happened outside my house and i wasnt even in the car i wasnt even in my house i was 10 miles away but i still get penalised for it i mean wtf
