Keep seeing more and more sports people wearing these. Are they just a gimmick? Or do they actual do anything

Ive got one, my dad gets them from the golf tours.
To be honest, i wear mine every day, and i actually dont know if it works. I guess it might just act like a placebo. Making you think that it is working

That's what I think Jacko. I can't see how they actual do anything apart from sit on your wrist and look pretty

i play alot of golf and get a stiff back at the bottom at times.
Never get it when i wear this.
Its not an overnight cure for anything.
I wore it for 3 months then realised i never had any discomfort in my back.
took it off
2 weeks later it stiffened up again.
Id reccomend them to anyone

If it's duped you into subconsciously believing it's cured a bad back then it's worth 20 sheets I suppose.

Yes and they also do nothing.
Like I said if you believe a 20 quid band has cured you then more power to you.

it tricks your mind into thinking it's helping you. in other words it's the placebo effect.
reearch proves you can trick your mind into not feeling physical pain.

Paracetamol is a drug with a scientific and experimental explanation of how it works.
An active bracelet is taking money from the stupid, although if the placebo effect works the money isn't really wasted.
