Does this just simulate a stark reduction in DOF and up the saturation a bit?

Think its safe to say, a close up picture of something massive, does not work with this effect.

Pretty much, there's a guide online somewhere, which i'm sure you can find, that shows you how to do it manually in photoshop.

That photo was took at about half 8 in the morning of New Years day 09. Someone obviously had an interesting NYE

Most them pics seem to make stuff look like models instead of real items
