I had one but it kept dieing on me, cutting out, turning itself off all the time.

Everytime I was on a call that was important it cut out, smashed it up in the end

Apps I had was BBM, Facebook, an Office Programme to have Excel and Word and MSN... Few others but they were gash, lots more out there for Blackberries nowadays though.

Tell the fuckers to get pingchat app (supports iPhone, Android and Crackberries)
9700 is a nice phone though, a few people i know have them and don't seem to have issues with them. Apart from the lack of decent apps. If you do get one, then get it in white

I have Pingchat Dom But BBM is still useful. As is having a phone that will see the day out without going near an ac socket

It will be white don't worry

Whatsapp supports Nokia S60 as well, but Ping and Whatsapp do pretty much the same ie: cross platform messenging with pic/video/audio support.
