my mate is selling his recovery truck and im going to view it tomorow, its a ldv convoy, x reg (2000) done 130k mot till march tax til feb, 2.5 engine ,it has just had a full new bed with ramps, new winch, just woundering if there is anythink i should look out for , and what seems a good price, he has offered it to me for £1800???? any good????

Know where there is a Leyland Daf 45 going. Very similar to this one



Its in alot better condition than that, Its on an M reg aswell.

LDV's are shit. Best advice is to work out how much it weighs with a car on the back, if its going over weight dont bother.

That DAF would require a license for 7.5T and if you are not using soley for recoveries a opperators license.

My mate is selling his 2003 Sprinter Beaver Tail but its a bit more than £1,800

went and seen it today and bought it , bit of surface rust on the cab, and the new sheets on the back need painting, aswel the batery tray has gone so he is getting one put on

the LDVs arnt that bad, the 2.5Di engine is a belter
