Hey
Been having trouble selling my gte, probably was deluded thinking it was worth 2.5k+. Cant even get 2k for it.  just getting offers of 1k etc. Rubbish.
Anyway some guy as offered me a straight swap for a 2004 Focus Gtr

Good Cars? and is that price of 2.9k what he suggests a fair price? As tempted to have it and sell it on as it may be easier for me/and make me more money.

The astra is a better car by miles but I would if its worth more money to sell on. Never heard of the gtr though

Never heard of a Focus Gtr... thats like calling a Corsa Flair with some alloys a 'Corsa Racing'

Focus GTR does exist apparently as a lad from up my road has one. Looks exactly the same as that but in silver.
Id keep the astra. Id buy it off you if i could sell mine!

Defo dont do it. Keep the astra and store it and use another car. Surely will be worth a lot more in years to come with its condition. Plus its more than likely going to get ruined.

i really wouldn't swap it for the focus! it's easy for me to say it, but i'd do everything i could to hold onto the gte - such a lovely example
i'm so surprised no-one has come with a strong offer

1.5k is my strongest offer so far. And i always get the repsonse "its only a 8v-so not worth that much" Got a VW badge i can borrow?..will double in price then.

anyone offering less than 2.3k is taking the piss tbh
have you thought about selling the compomotives separately perhaps?

Yeah thats the plan for this week, should get abit for the wheels i would think. Just need to get the standards sprayed again.
