Just hit a kerb in the escort, not just a tap, like a big launch one side of the car in the air

only just bought that tyre too, probably have to get a new wheel too, unless alloys can be hammered out like steel wheels. Might try that

thats the 2nd time in 10yrs i've had to change a wheel by the roadside, did it in record time anyone watching would of been impressed

driving it without a care, came down a hill and sun was right in my eyes and just didn't see guess where the kerb was very well, it was through of those traffic calming things

Reminds me of what a mate did a few years ago in his escort in the snow.

We were all sat around and he decided to get in his car and have a "play" in the snow. Some one said "How long until he hiss something", Before he had finished the sentence my mate had hit the kerd and put a huge dent in the wheel (Bigger than the one in hte pic).

Think his was a similar wheel style to that aswell!

I've needed to replace my rear beam twice now for this reason

not too fast, 30-35mph, it was in a 30mph zone.

just glad it wasn't the corrado, although i know i would of been more careful in that as its a special car

yes, its sat in garage with bits missing now so can't drive it, probably there until next year now

just hope i havn't buggered up the steering on escort now, the track rod looks straight.

i drove for a bit with the wheel flat, but decided after 100m i should really stop
