im thinking 1.9cdti??

pref want alloys and cruise control if i could get one with that option?
ive looked roughly what prices they are going for but not what they have as extras.

what models come with either??

id much prefer a sri with the x pack but its out of my budget, just want a normal everyday car!

Think astras are pretty shit spec.

Might be worth buying a stalk off ebay for about 30 quid and getting it fitted and activated at vauxhall (should take about an hour)?

The SRI CDTI150 is a great car. If you get the XP it has the Penta alloys and the bodykit which looks great.

5 door looks better than 3 door imo.

And cruise can be retro fitted for about £40.

Phi, honest to god how much you wanting to spend because 1.7CDTi and 1.9 CDTi Astras are hard as feck to come across second hand, they are very sought after cars even worse in 3 door in SRi spec.

Get a 3 door, far nicer. Theres a reason they only make the VXR in 3 doors.

Do you do much mileage to warrant a diesel?

I can already imagine the threads soon after you buy one the dual mass is fucked, swirl flaps, egr valve etc.
