Well on Saturday the 2nd Oct, me and a few friends went to a RWYB at shakespeare raceway! First time I have ever done 1/4 mile and I really enjoyed it was a great day.

I ran the car as I would everday, had 3/4 tank of fuel, normal pressures etc etc

My personal best was 12.9 @ 111mph

Which i was more than happy with as that was my first run of the day, but they seemed to get worse ah well i can work from this

Other times were:

13.2 @ 110mph
13.3 @ 110mph
13.1 @ 110mph

I seem to be consistent with the terminal speeds, i just need to get better at the launches

Few of the cars that went:

Astra VXR with stage 2 - Mid 14's

Mk3 Golf with 1.8 20v t - Mid 14's

Evo 9 FQ 400 - 12.6

200sx - 360 - engine failure

First run of the day vs the Evo 9

12.9 @ 111mph and 12.6 @ 107mph for the Evo, Damn 4wd...

and my PB slip

I will be doing more next year once i have new exhaust, injectors and turned the boost up

Cheers

12.9 is a good time.

What power is the engine running and do you have a LSD?

Cheers, its :

BHP @ Wheels 219.6bhp @ 6,004rpm
BHP @ Flywheel 260.6bhp @ 6,235rpm
Torque 243.1lbft @ 5,041rpm

Since then I have changed the map as the fueling was shite on that run and the Rev limiter has been increased but I haven't put it on the rollers since!

And its got a diff!

Does that say your reaction time was 0.8 of a second? Seems a lot?

It does say that, but reaction times aren't counted on your overall time unless it's an event i believe

cheers everyone, as for reaction times, i was abit poor with these as stated But i was happy enough as it was my first go at 1/4 miles! My quickest reaction time was 0.601, on the 12.9 it was my slowest reaction time of the day!

As for shakey, the surface is good I have heard alot of people saying its better than pod but the rest is a shitehole tbh!

As I said i will be back out next year and seeing what i can do, would like mid 12's but we will see

The Bore isn't enough to cope/flow freely enough IIRC from the last Combe threads?
