Rite as the missus seems to have adopted my BMW as her car i need a car myself. Dont really want anything to small and small engined as often do a 300mile round trip to Milton Keynes and daily have a 50 mile round trip to work. MPG isnt to big an issue, as never really had anything economical so anything over 30MPG would be ok. I have found a few possible idea's

2003 Alfa 147 2.0 Selespeed 80K but cat C - £1,250ono

2002 Alfa 147 1.6 TS Luso - 90K FSH but on V car £875

2001 Mondeo 2.0 Ghia X - fully loaded - 113K £995

106 GTi or Saxo VTS - around 100K and £1200ish - seen quite a few but generally all modified in one way or another like bellow

2003 MG ZT 190+ - 47K and £1,250

What do people think/experience of these? Or any other ideas?

Out of that little lot, the MG or the Mondeo.

I like 147's, but fcuk owning a Cat C or a pikey spec one (those pikey spec interiors are ming!)

106's Saxo's are chav mobiles - especially if like the example pic!

I really like the look of the MG, but the major problem is that its an MG/Rover!! The Mondeo does tick all the boxes i must admit; it would do the job for a year as want to get a RR sport next summer once i've moved house and we have had our baby so would prob then have the BMW as a second car

Are you sure you don't want to rephrase the question to:

"Which of these cars will give me the most profit once I sell it on in a month or two after making up a bullshit story about it not being practical for your needs...as secretly I'm a trader...?"

The MG had the chrome strip but it was colour coded badly and regularly flaked off, when I worked at mg as a valeter we had to remove it off a few cars.

Just because the wheels are a bit dirty? There are literally no other marks you can see on it. I think it looks like an enthusiasts car more than a chav, just because it doesn't have Pug wheels in silver or standard lights doesn't instantly make it 'chav'. Lexus lights and a bit fuck off spoiler on the back are things that are 'chavvy' I thought.

It's just a word that gets thrown around now when people see a car that isn't standard spec or tuned out its balls.

3 fucking edits for spelling, I'm a retard.

Don't get a selespeed alfa ever! Neo did his research on them when looking at 156s, very expensive to fix when they go wrong!
