Recently purchased a PS1 for old school gaming, and now with the current TV I have in my room it doesnt seem to want to play ball. I plug the scart lead into the back and it will play for a bit and work fine but then the tv will start switching between TV mode and AV mode, as you can guess it is rather annoying trying to play whilst losing the screen every two seconds.
Some times the tv will be fine but others it wont want to play ball at all.
Tv is http://www.venturer.com/products.aspx?view=534
I have tried the PS1 on a Samsung tv and it works fine, it just seems to be my tv that it plays up on.
Any ideas would be lovely.

As you can see from here
http://www.electronics2000.co.uk/pin-out/scart.php
pin 8 is the switchover pin. Basically this tells your tv to switch to the AV channel when there is +9-12v present. Maybe it is lose or summing.

Pull the switchover pin out of the SCART lead then manually switch it to the AV channel assoicated with that SCART socket.
