Hey guys looking for a new camera i've got a digital camera but after something a little bulkier and more professional. I've got about £400 to spend if anyone can recommend me a decent SLR

I'd say a Nikon of some sort. I have a D3000 and cracking camera in my opinion!

I recommend the Canon 450D from personal experience.

Nikon D40 body - £200
Nikon 18-105 VR - £150

All second hand. The D40 only has 6mp but as anyone in the know will tell you, it punches way above it's weight.
