Was in a crash a while ago, got whiplash in my wrist (in short, can't remeber what it's called) on friday I finished the claim and was told I wouldnbe called on Monday with the first offer or something? I will take the first offer as I work 8am to 7pm everyday and just want it finished. How long should I expect to wait for the ££££? The crash was the other persons fault and they addmitted this from the very begining. So no drama there

Once they've admitted blame and you've been awarded a sum I would think ten days at most for the cheque to arrive.
I think it was four days for my first one and then ten for the one after.

Cheers all, j1oe I am not too bothered really as I am going to start looking for another car in about two weeks, well going to buy another one and the cash would be great right now. And I wasn't working at the time so I wasn't effected too much by it

Just gunna have to keep my fingers crossed. They were incredibly efficient though. I recieved £200 two days after the accident to cover me until the claim was over!

Whiplash in your wrist?

How long will depend on whether they send you to see an expert who will send their medical report over or if they settle without the need for this.

Been to one already and they have discharged me.
Yea I was sitting in the back reading a magazine at the time. On impact I put my hand up to the back of the seat but didn't have enough time to tense. Same principle as whip lash in your neck. Left me not being able to put any strain/weight on the hand. Couldn't support a 2l bottle!
