I took part in a jap car london tunnel run last night - first one I've done and it was pretty epic.
There were over 450 cars taking part! 
Essentially, all met at Essex Arena, given a route map around london through many tunnels, with different meet points / photo opportunities along the way. Then from about 11pm the cars started leaving to cause carnage on London's roads. We were convoying with the organisers who left last, we exited at about 12:20am and with the advantage of people in our convoy knowing where they were going, started on the way to catching the pack and making up lost time.
I had a passenger and tom tom warning me of all sorts of speed cameras... The noise in the tunnels was mental with the top down! Although a bit cold.
Unfortunately we had troubles setting up the camera to record  would've been awesome. But here are some of my pics.
Start with my car :
These american's who confused me with their lack of front plates and 'wrong' side steering wheels.
Overall a good S2000 turn out (In total there were over 444 cars they said on miss banzai forum).

Then the queue to get in:
Got the instructions! Then head off around 12:20am.
We set off onto the A13 with a mad dash where we were all swapping places and some people were experiencing colourblindness at the traffic lights. Funniest part on the A13 was me commenting to my co pilot that my car was feeling really slow and then realising I was using 5th and 6th, where I thought I was in 3rd and 4th LOL!! oops.
After a pretty manic run we all arrived at the millenium wheel!
Apparently, this parking was illegal and we were all facing 3 points (said the officer) ... other highlights included a confused woman asking what was going on? and someone just saying 'don't worry, it's for charity'
After a few more tunnels we ended up in the underground roundabout.
The next section featured some fantastic comments from drunk pedestians. Such as 'You pretenious sports car wankers!' and 'Do your nice cars make up for your small dicks' ...  - I think the passenger in Adrians car shouted back 'Why don't you come over here and find out'
In both scenarios, I was just  about the fact that clearly they thought our cars were nice heh. Overall, I'd say the s2000s were some of the nicest looking cars at the tunnel run and it must of been a sight to see them all pile through town. I guess that's why almost everywhere you went there were spectators / people filming heh.
Final ending point!
Got home at 4:42am after stretching the cars legs on the m4.
This is not a video from our car... but it shows you a bit of what it was like throughout the night ... I think you see a lot of our s2000s around 8 mins in.

Really dont see the point in hardtops? Are todays modern drop tops that bad you need to put the hardtop on? Or is there a nothing reason that i dont understand?

They don't let them in the arena / don't give them a route map. Therefore like the police they have no idea where everyone is going.
