Not really been myself recently, working REALLY hard and had my Mum on me about getting some stuff done on her little runabout at the moment so I've been driving it to make sure I get them done.

Anyway, I may have put some diesel in a KA today.... I can't for the life of my find the receipt that I got when I topped the tank up and cannot remember which pump I picked up at all. I've driven it back from Beaconsfield to Windsor (12ish miles?) and nipped to the shops in it and all has seemed fine...

But yeah, I'm panicing a little now... I only put a tenner in (like heck Mum is getting free petrol out of me when I'm still filling the MiTo up while she's using it!)... Should I just go brim it with some of shells finest unleaded tomorrow and forget about it lol!

You can't have cause it won't go in, you can do it the other way round though.

Hang on, you're right aren't you, you can't fit a diesel pump in an unleaded "hole" can you?

Might go and stick some more in while Ma and Pa are engrosed in Strictly Come Dancing just to calm my nerves...

Just dived down the local petrol station and deduced it's impossible I could have done it without getting it all over my lovely Catapillar shoes. Thank fuck for that.

Thanks guys

I once put £5-£10 of diesel in, so I topped the rest of the tank with petrol and it ran fine

£10 should be fine, anymore than that id say take it somewhere.
The fact that you've ran the car means most the damage would be done anyway.

fill it to the top with Petrol and just be prepared for a bit of smoke depending on the mix.
