if you want aston to stay in business then they needed to do this. stupid laws coming in.
unless you want to see them chucking out 1.6t vantage's? even electric ones will be crap without the v8 or v12 roar.

What hook are they getting off? The law is there to get motor companies to innovate with new technologies and products. Companies, like Aston Martin, who need to piss about making Toyota iQ's with bodykits on to get around this kind of thing are just dinosaurs.
The person who invents a hydrogen fuel infrastructure is going to be very rich.
The person who invents some form of production electric car that doesn't require batteries and is desirable will be very rich.
The person who invents a lightweight chassis that is strong, safe and durable will be very rich.
The company that doesn't innovate and carries on feeling the need to put V12's in their heavy cars will go bankrupt.

The hook of not having a car with co2 emissions less than 221g/km :/
I agree on all your points, but no "supercar" company produce anything like what you’re after, its not just Aston Martin who are stuck producing the same thing over and over, Porsche is definitely guilty of that..
