They are restricted to 155mph, take a cross head screw out of the inlet manifold and you should see 185mph out of it!

the inlet manifold is restrictive... thought by many to be done on purpose so as to not embaress the 1.8> engines...
Mantzel/Velos/Lexmaul all do replacement manifolds..
Diblas - do a shite half breed of manifold and TB's
TB's are the way to go

The worlds your oyster with the 16v units.
Cams, TB, exhaust manifold, engine managment system, ported and flowed head/inlet/exhaust manifolds, lightened n balanced flywheel, Limited Slip Diff, etc etc.
Can get around 250bhp from these engines without NOS or forced induction.

A standard Corsa GSi & Sport are restricted, Renton's/Davy's Corsa GSi from Redline is more or less a de-restricted Corsa GSi.

lol again u cant de-restrict a corsa! it dont have random pipes in the exhaust and a special gear pully to slow it down to 30
u can however make it more efficient and got more air/fuel in faster by the above ideas like TBs, head work, zorsts, cams etc

Whys that then Patrick? Hmm, Lee probably spent half of what you spent on your engine and that does 0-60 in 6.39 seconds.
