Do you use your phone whilst driving? Whether it's to text, phone people, email or watch tv.....

I reckon on average at least 5 of every 10 cars on the motorway are actually on the phone!!

I've got a handfree thing, but it's shit, it makes me sound like a mouse and nobody can hear me, so usually end up pulling over if im on A roads / or just answer it on the motorway.

Has anybody had points for using your phone? Have you learnt your lesson now?

I use mine a lot when I'm out in my van. Got a handsfree but its a pain in the arse.

Bought a blackberry to stop me texting though because I hated that I did that.

Occasionally to talk yes. I always put it in speakerphone mode but still have to hold onto it. Never tried testing though, unless I'm in totally stationary traffic.

I've got an iPhone, and tbh I do text whilst driving. Really want to stop though, its really dangerous as you have to read the message about 10 times before sending it, due to every other word being changed to something else thanks to its predictive thing!

Kano - How did a blackberry stop you texting?

There's an app for Android and iPhones (Not sure about blackberries) that allows you to dictate a text message and send it to somebody, without pressing buttons.

If I get a text when im driving i'll read it 99% of the time. Don't text back though as its too hard to do when driving with my phone. Don't usually answer the phone when driving though as its a bit too obvious

I miss the days when you could text whilst driving etc without even looking at the screen time to get an old fashioned phone!
