Best thing he could do. He is one of the best players on Earth, he just needs to sort his head out now and Fergie is the man to do that.

With the hatred he has shown towards him recently, I will physically deck Matt if he comes in celebrating.

I don't know why I'm happy about this but I am As people have said, he could have went into meltdown and followed in Gazza's footsteps. Fergie is the man who will sort his head out and get him back on top of the footballing world. United to still buy Torres though

wonder if the people who were threatening to kill him feel a bit embarassed lol

Messege has been sent out to the Glaziers.... lets see if they match his ambitions over the next couple of years... I doubt it personally

We don't need Torres Eck, Rooney is the best striker in the world. I've always said that

This is a bit of a strange turnaround and i certainly wasn't expecting it.

This made me laugh:

No mention of the players then? he obviously still has no confidence in them

Do you blame him really? The best midfielder they have is well into his thirties Nani is starting to be a bit more consistent, but compared to the players of past years, there are a few weak areas in this side. Especially right back

I do believe they will purchase at least ONE established player to try and show that they match his ambition.

Yea i definitely think we will see some activity in the transfer market, maybe as early as january, Alhough i wouldn't bet against them raiding Tottenham in the summer if they fail to qualify for the Champions League again.

Wouldn't mind seeing the likes of Bale, Modric, Van Der Vaart or even Kranjcar at United
