tried slabs, mk3 astra wheels, neither fit. need quite bit clearances on the inside of the wheel. this is where the problem lies.

the thing i like about the mo's is i have no spacer fitted etc. correct offset and all that.
spacers cn make the car drive badly.

its quite tricky as id probably somehow have to borrow loads of sets of 15's to test with.

i know they're spot on space wise to outer bit of the rim, unsure on the spokes themselves, but all that would depend on offset etc

why you taking the mo's off?

its the step on the inside of the rim that causes the issue with most wheels. it either steps down later than the mo;s do, or the centre bore of wheel just isnt as big diameter. was very suprised them oz didnt fit on.
closest non mo's ive found were tsw alpine, although they would need loads off caliper so wasnt prepared to do it.

before i bought them some fucker has butchered the centres for some reason. means it doesnt fit on the hub true so doesnt rotate in the centre. causes a lot of dodgy wobble when you accelerate hard. i could get them fixed, and will, but i just fancied a change really anyway.
