I have the biggest, shittest old gas meter under my kitchen sink. When I come to do the ktichen, I'd ideally like to relocate it into a dedicated locker recessed into an exterior wall in the same way as the Electric meter is positioned.

My neighbours have done this but the hosue is rented so I can't ask the actual owners how they went about it or who did it.

So, CS, I guess I contact the Gas supplier but how much am I looking at paying to have it moved?

Not sure if it would work but in our old house I got British Gas to change our electric meter as part of a deal to switch to them

We just got ours replaced. British gas did it for free but as you want yours relocating it might cost you some money.
