as my original plan of getting a 350z has changed due to the fact it would cost me a fortune to have it as a weekend toy im now left looking into other possiblities of what to go for, problem is i was set on the 350 and nothing really appeals out there at the moment, this isnt a what car next thread as theres no saying i will change it yet (would like to but if nothing floats my dingy then i wont).

so yeah what nice cars are out there as im struggling to think atm?

must be
2003 or newer,
under 12k
less than 40k miles
either decent powered derv or petrol (petrol must be able to do 35+mpg ideally),
HAS TO HANDLE well as im sick of this boat like handling .

so errm yeah go

edit
well i have now had the zed and its now going love it but need to go back down to one car that can manage to do atleast 35mpg+
same rules apply as before however...

i would like it to be rwd/4wd,
will look at auto/manual as long as the auto has the flappy paddles and doesnt take an eternity to change gear.
price range id prefer under 10k ideally.
2003 and newer.
nothing that will cost alot to insure/maintain/tax

I know it's done more miles than you were looking for, but something like this? It'd go pretty well with a remap as well!

I thought octavia especially after being in beckys dads but like lee says its a bit of a barge .

bmw - dont like the interiors and they are massivly underpowered imo.

focus - after hearing bens stories of getting around 25mpg ill pass lol ill get the 350 as it does more .

cupra - never really been keen on them

elise - insurance is around 2k
clio v6 - like them but a bit too 'boy racer'

so now thats shot all the ideas down so far need more
also imeant 2003 and newer not older woops.
