a new rocker cover and the engine may look ok.

It's a dealer, it wouldn't be a swap, it would be they take your car and you pay a grand.

I drive by that dealer on the way to work as well and I've never once seen anything resembling a car anyone might want to buy.

It's very common actually. It happened to my VTR and that was well maintained.
