Stick to vegetables and salad!

Sweet potatoes are a decent replacement and are pretty nutrient rich. Normal potatoes aren't as bad for you as people try to make out either.

I'd recommend you google "Paleo" and have a read, it's exactly what you're looking for.

Veg, veg, veg.

Roasted veg; Peppers, onions, cherry toms, avocado, courgettes etc.

Or just salad; lettuce, onion, toms, cucumber, peppers etc.

Both go with many things; duck, fish, meat etc or just cold meat/cheese with salad.

Not a clue on carbs, i'm lucky that I can eat what I want but sensible diet and exercise will drop you more off.

4st loss! Great result, keep it up.

I know there has been a bit recently about calories being innacurate but if you are looking for weight loss go for that. It's very surprising the difference between say lemonade and diet lemonade, also something someone pointed out on another site I use about salad dressings; I couldn't believe how many calories are in them when I looked.

and theres a huge difference in regular soda and diet, because one uses sugar the other uses no calorie sweetner.

i lost my weight so far, by protein, protein, protein, gym, gym, gym.

doesnt neccesarily have to be cardio, anybody who says only cardio can burn weight is talking jibber. working muscles burns fat off, fact!!

and, as for carbs, just dont eat them. stack up on tuna, chicken, fish and veg.

You can eat carbs, even if you're looking to loose weight, it just makes it harder to burn more calories than you take in, which is the only way you can loose fat. 1lb of fat is the equivilent of 3400 calories. Simple math says you need to eat 3400 calories less than your BMR burns a week to loose 1lb a week.

We only drink buckfast so we can then use the empty glass bottle to smash over fat Americans heads. Mate.
