Opinions.
Been offered a cheap deal from BT for one and wondering if they are as good as they seem?
Thanks

Crap imo. Had 3 different ones, few problems with them.
Once had a BT engineer round and even he said Home Hub's are crap coz they can't handle the speeds they're supposed to.

Mine was fine, only replaced it to get a better wireless signal further away.

How can you say that with your connection speed
HomeHubs are shit, well my white one was that I had 2 years ago. Connection would drop all the time, the wireless wouldnt send through a partition wall and when 3 people tried to connect at the same time (student house) it bombed out.
And BT are money robbing, shit customer service bastards

It's used to be fine though, it's shit foreign hosts on cod tbh and all the shit that's connected to it, 2 laptops, 2 iPhones, a pc and a telly
What router would you recommend then danielsan?
I've seen gaming routers, Wtf are they? Can I even just use whatever router I like being with bt or do I have to use a hub? Or should i just get a black version 2 hub off of eBay?

Fuck the homehubs completely, Ive always used Netgear routers, usually the D834G (probably now on v34 or something).
If you are going to change router you will need all the auto settings off your homehub, which may mean googling for some 'unlocking' tips to find said info which they usually hide
