who would buy one and actually use it everyday for commuting ect

Or is it for some rich bugger just to use on weekends or track?

Been having a disscusion with a few mates about it. Just wondering everyones oppinions.

I'd have thought it would be ok seen as its from factory so im sure they try to keep noise to a minimum inside, but the rear windows being plastic cant help, and climing over the cage all the time would probably do my head in though.

Want to know everyones opinions on them.

aparently wont depreciate much bu i guess if you used it everyday it will get wear and tear and thus loose money.

Just get an R26

I would drive it every day. I've had 60 mile round trips every day in a completely stripped XSi. Talking to yourself becomes common

Just an R26 would be the beter option imo.

I would happily drive it everyday.

Having to climb in and out would be the fun part.

im not buyin one, just curious of what everyone though of them.

Wouldnt have thought they'd loose much money either.

K-tec bought an r26 and put the cage, seats ect...tuned it up to the same bhp and it cost them less than to buy a r26-r

You'd have to be mad to buy one instead of an R26. Can't see the appeal

Yeah I'd have one, but I'd also drive around in an old Escort with carbonfibre style badges

Unless you track it every weekend I can't see the point.

The guy in the normal r26 that turns up beside you at the traffic lights won't be any slower, he'll be more comfortable though.

I was being a bit sarcastic. Obviously there would be plenty other things to make it a rep but still whats wrong with the dci

I mentioned the diesel because i just assumed you would be doing a lot of miles with the living with every day comment hence why i mentioned the sport derv. Perfectly fine comment with no comparison what so ever
