Apparently he can get up to 6 years in jail if he lets Alonso pass

Can this seriously happen though? How can he be jailed for letting him pass , all he has to say his Alonso got a better exit out such and such a corner and he couldn't defend.

It can't be serious WTF could he be jailed for?

Hes not spoiling the fun of the fans, hes helping out his team mate as he is no longer a contender for the championship. He isn't out there to 'purposely spoil the fun of the fans'. And I can't seeing anyone going to jail for the reason you give anyway

you can say the same for button aswell, as he's 11th, he could block say vettel or webber after the 1st round of pit stops.

o rly??

quoted from report

But here's the rub. Paulo Castilho – a prosecutor in Brazil's Special Criminal Court and palpably a man who does not understand – has told the Folha de S. Paulo newspaper that if Massa goes ahead with his promise to help Alonso out by ceding position to him should he find himself able and required to do so, even if it is of his own free will, he will find himself in hot water indeed in his homeland and facing up to six years imprisonment for 'defrauding' fans of their right to honest competition.
