This was done for a friend who wanted a few shots to get printed up for her mums birthday.
Its my first portrait style shoot, so I wasn't expecting the results to be brilliant, but i'm quite happy with some of them.

Good pics of the family, but don't look like they've been done with anything better than a normal pocket digital camera, not sure if they're supposed to.

Not bad but the WB seems off in a few and a couple seem OOF.

What lens where you using and did you use fill at any point?

try shooting from lower down aswell to avoid small leg syndrome.

I decided to re-edit the ones she chose.

They were taken with my 450D and my 16-35mm. Its probably not the best lens for portrait shots like this, but its the only one I have.

Don't worry, the blondie is 17

blonde would get it, as for shots i quite like the ones where they 2 lads are strangling each other feels a bit more relaxed and unposed.

but the one of the 3 girls that was chosen is the best imo.

I usually find that playing around with the blue channel in curves gives more accurate skin tones.

It never happened.

I was emailing the couple for a while, but eventually they just never got back to me.

I don't know if something happened, or if they had a change of mind. Maybe they found someone closer.

Kinda gutted to be honest
