I'd love to buy a touring car spec Cav/Vec shell to drop that in.

are they reverse head as well in the chevrolet? mental to think a 24 year old engine still gets used in a modern car for a race series. shows just how good it is really.

Honestly not sure in that much detail, just pretty sure that they use 300bhp XEs. Don't take any of what I say as gospel though

There you go then, I just figured it was a 300bhp XE so couldn't have been so different.

£13,000 is not a lot of money for that spec of engine.
Try and build one of these yourself the crank alone is a massive chunk of money let alone the snazzy head.

As cool as it is, I can think of MUCH better ways to spend £13k.

Absolutely
For the benefits the reverse head gives you its just not worth it unless your in a very competitive race series (TOCA)
That cylinder head is circa £6000 on its own bare
