What do the City fans think?
As a comparison:
Blackburn Rovers spent £6.8m when they won the title (After spending £8.65m the previous year)
Chelsea spent £89m to win the title (After spending £121m the previous year and £63.4m to win the following year too)
Manchester United's spending between 2006-2009 was £117.475
To date City have spent £237m on players.
How much more do they need to spend before they get the League Cup?

blackburn won the league back when prices for player were low, so you can't really compare to them, unless you work out what the 'real' rate now would be?
they have too many big names imo and all want to play at the same time, which causes friction and therefore fighting.

They seriously need to play as a team, it's all very well buying some awesome players, they just havn't bonded. If they did, they would win something.

They've spent all that money for what? Not a lot imo. None of there buys have stood out like spurs signing of VDV

We could do with a real world class striker but until we win something worthy they will not come imho.
Until then the team needs time to settle and bond as a team as we still play like a load of players who have no idea who the other 10 players are... Our shortcomings were laid out for all to see when we went down to 10 men playing paedos team.

O and one thing we need that teams like United and Chelsea have that you cannot buy is the winning mentality. Thats the biggest thing we need. Its also what the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal are also missing and i believe the reason Bobby bought Vierra in (well i cannot think of any other reason for having him!).
