Looking for any ways of making a bit of cash.
I've been a bit silly with my student loan and blown it all, have less than £100 to last me till Christmas
Any ideas, doesn't seem to be many jobs going in/around Coventry at the moment though

are there definatley no jobs local? most shops/restaurants/hotels etc are hiring in droves at this time of year, even if its just temporary it'll tide you over, restaurants would want you to work outside of school hours too

True. But I bet he could buy an older banger with no mot, fix/clean it up and sell for quite a large profit. Even of he had to lend £100 of someone, it would be worth it in the long run...

Buy and sell stuff. I've started doing it.
Bought a few mugs recently silly cheap, have sold 3 and im well into profit with 9 more to go. Then i will invest that into buying more tat to sell on and so forth.
I also give girls i know lifts home from clubs at a cut price to the cabbies. quite a bit to be made from that tbh especially with you being a student (and having a derv) you should have loads of contacts/possible customers.

Plus an easy way to meet your next victim without having to wait outside in the wet and cold.

Where do you get your stuff to sell on?
The cabbie idea is good, but everyone walks in Cov, everything is within 20min walk!

Ebay mostly - I look for local job lots that i could collect that i reckon I can shift for a profit. Girlf starting at uni has helped as has opened up a few connections. but as kakarot said it can be unreliable as you have no gaurantee what you buy will sell.
I'm in quite a good location for pick ups/drop offs as have a few well know drinking places near me and also not far from london which is usually the biggest earner. got £30 the other week to get a group of girls from the 02 and only used £5 petrol in the VR Took just under an hour
