Judging by the price of Corsa's these day, it'd probably be cheaper to buy a new car.
The 12v and 1.2 16v engines use a different ECU which makes conversions more problematic. Still possible though.

Conveting the loom to accept the EPS is a mare. Finding a place for the new ECU is a mare.
Exhausts are vastly different, that's going to cost you money.
Just odds and ends like engine mounts etc cost a lot when you add it all up. The conversion cost me an arm and a leg to do properly and it was hardly worth it for the power gain.
That's my 5pence worth.

As said its not the easiest conversion to be honest. The wiring is completely different as its all in different places on the 1.0 12v's. I ended up changing the dash loom on mine so that it was plug and play for the new engine loom. As said if you have EPAS its even more of a nightmare. In terms of mounting the engine you'll just need to change the drivers side from mount as this is different on the 12v. Other things that you will need to change include the radiator, hoses, drive shafts, full exhaust system as its a larger bore, and dials.

I did they same, changed the dash loom. This involves a severe amount of swearing and head scratching.

Its a darn sight easier than a lot of conversions lol
Its standard fit into a corsa for a start.
EPAS, If it has it, Bin it imo, rubbish feeling and its only a case of changing the column which is a £20 part. And then fit proper engine powerd fluid PAS which the kit can be picked up for £30.
If the car is mostly standard, i would just buy a sport and then do engine mods etc. Will also be cheaper than a converted car too.

I dont know what the fuss is about here its not that hard. Yes its not as easy as an 8v but at least its got mpi for a start. Your problems will come from what has already been done to the loom in order to get the c20xe running.
But...................Agreed with the comments in here it will be easier, cheaper and quicker to just buy a 1.4 sport to begin with. If your adamant to use the 12v shell you'd be best of getting a 1.4 sri/sport as a donor for all the bits that need changing they can be had cheap enough and certainly cheaper then you having to obtain all the parts individually.

Quite easy just takes longer then other conversions you need;
Engine
loom
rad and all pipes
exhaust
drivers side mount
bigger vac pipe
I ran mine for a year with 12v shafts and it was fine as for wiring you only need the 3 wires coming out the bulk head were the 12v (loom plugged in) cut the plug off and I think you only need the thick red tick red/blue and the thin black extend them wires to the foot well, cut the sport loom plug off and wire for wire... and the ecu will sit were it sits in a sport. Also leave the SAI off because it useless... Might have missed a few things but meh
