Just downloaded RedHat 8.0, was also getting Unreal Tournament 2003 at 390k\sec on kazzaa at the same time

Stuff has moved on quite a lot in the last year when you think about it. My mate often gets around 800k/sec when downloading, songs take like 10secs to get!

right easy one to use, mandrake is up your street, very easy install program and easy for someone who has just started on it! Red hat is more of a server thing, but its okay i guess for workstation, but none theless, if yah starting out, GO mandrake!

Redhat is pants -- nearly as bloated as Windows now....

Linux distribs I guess each to their own -- CS runs slackware and it's so nice and minimal...

yeah adam stay with mandrake, slackware's installer is a fuck for people who havent touched linux/text installers before. Tim, 201 days uptime, all good but sucks cock if your kernel is outofdate :>
