So far I've watched

Prison Break
24
Spooks
Dexter
The Shield
True Blood
Inbetweeners
Bones
Band of Brothers
Pacific
Gavin & Stacey
Flash Forward
Heroes
Shameless
4400
The Big Bang Theory

Currently watching The Wire but only a few episodes left.

So what do people recommend then? As you can see from what I've posted it gives an insight into my tastes.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

You've got Band of Brothers so I'd have suggested The Pacific although never seen it.

I did watch a few episodes of Him and Her which was on BBC Three which was pretty good.

Yes. I prefer to wait until a whole series has finished then watch them about 3 a night Sometimes work is slow!

Currently got Chuck and Generation Kill first seasons on the d/l so if I like them they should keep me going a few weeks

Deano: I've got Pacific, it's on the list.

My mate does that, then says he doesn't like watching films as they are too long!

Plus he watches on a laptop
